Natural dyeing is a continual exploration and a delightful surprise.

Natural dyes are a wonderful and environmentally friendly way to bring life to natural fabrics.

The technique of dyeing fabrics dates back centuries. Although it declined with the Industrial Revolution, it is now experiencing a revival through traditional methods in many parts of the world.

In these workshops, will teach you the fundamental principles and practices of natural dyeing using traditional, kitchen, and foraged dye-stuffs, we’ll explore various techniques, including fabric theory, preparation, and color fixing for both cellulose and protein fabrics. You will receive notes for each lesson, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions even after the class has ended. 

They are suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some experience who seek further practical guidance. A reminder that KIDS aged 7+ ARE WELCOME!
